Shawn C. Brown

Shawn Christopher Brown, age 44 of Hamilton, won his battle and entered the gates of heaven on Saturday, December 17, 2016. He was born on July 26, 1972 in Columbus to Arthur and Mary Brown. Shawn graduated from Groveport Madison High School before attending the Certified Master Plumber’s Association. He worked as a journeyman plumber for more than ten years. Shawn married Melissa Abner on September 18, 1999. He was an active member of Community Christian Church. In his spare time, Shawn enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, participating in his men’s church group, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years; daughters Danielle, Megan, Lauren; sister Michelle (Jeff) Tolle; mother and father in law Jack and Maureen Abner; brother’s in law Jack (Melissa) Abner, Bradley (Tammy) Abner, Bret (Tabitha) Abner, Brady (Katie) Abner; nieces and nephews Brandon, Jason, Zakari, Miranda, Joshua, Sara, Gabriel, Tori, Taylor, Karley, Gracie, Carter, Mason, and Maura. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 11am until 1pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Brown Family to assist with funeral expenses.
