Sheila McQueen

Sheila Cox McQueen passed away at the age of 81 at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. Sheila was born on April 16, 1930. She is the daughter of the late Emma Brehm born in Clovsplint, Kentucky, near Harlan County.

Sheila married Virgil McQueen on June 21, 1947. They were happily married for 64 years. They had three daughters; Cheryl and Rev. David E. Richards of Sherwood, Arkansas; Lana Smith and Monica McQueen of Hamilton, Ohio. They had three granddaughters; Julie and Greg Hillegas; Brooke and Jim Elkin; Bethany and Kyle Perkins. Three grandsons David Richards, Shannon Richards, and Scott Richards. Six great grandsons: Riley and Conley Hillegas, Josiah Richards, Jackson Richards, Evan Richards, and Jack Missman; three great granddaughters Sophia Richards, Sarah Richards, and Julia Elkin. She is also survived by one brother, Laurie T. Brehm. Sheila served faithfully for 45 years in teaching Sunday School. She was a member of Tri County Assembly of God. Visitation will be held at Tri County Assembly of God, 7350 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45014 on Tuesday November 22, 2011 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Brad Rosenberg and Pastor Hugh Rosenberg, officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Burial Park, Hamilton, Ohio. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Tri County Assembly of God Food Pantry.
