Tom was one of the good guys. Always fun to be around. We will all miss him terribly, but have some comfort of many happy memories.  I know I will have a Slainte for him on St. Patricks days.

My deepest sympathy to Joy and Tom's family. We lost a really good man!

I was so shocked when I received the call from my brother Joe on Saturday evening about Tom’s passing. We  had our ups and downs growing up, but I could always count on him. Both Tom and I decided to label ourselves Recovering Catholics, so I am hoping that we will see each other on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge where will see Duchess, Doobie, and Pumpkin and all of our other furry friends.

I only got to meet Tom during a weekend in April of 2018 when I was there to meet a litter of puppies, but I could tell what a kind and special person he was. So sorry for your loss, Joye, and the extended family.  My condolences to you all.  RIP Tom.

Tom always made us feel welcome when Kathy and I made it over to Murphy's on a Sunday afternoon for a Bengals game. He was always cheerful and eager to chat, and he usually bought us a round. Great guy! Our thoughts are with his family.

Whenever I saw Tom, he always had a soft  welcoming smile and a kind word . He will truly be missed.

I could sit here and write a book on how amazing you were! But they’re only allowing 2,000 characters. I just want to say you were a great man! The world needed you, but also didn’t deserve you! Omg! Tom... I hope you’re at peace! Prayers to Joye, your  family, and our Murphy's family! Gonna miss you! Sláinte and happy “Who Dey” a million times for ya!!! 

There are so many memories I could share but not just one that  is better than the other... from being part of the Murphys family (because  you we’re willing to hire me for being a Swarthwood), to our dart team, all if my milestones and downfalls you have been there for me and my family.   I will cherish our friendship and you being part of our family forever.  We love you.. May God hold you in his arms. 

I'll NEVER forget the infamous evening when the floor dropped inches during a party at the house next to the Richmond Register. There was dead silence then everyone raised their glasses and cheered. Just one of so many great memories... I'll miss you old friend.

Tom is survived by his wife, Joye (Schockman) Ford; siblings, Br. Christopher Ford FSC, Joseph (Juli) Ford, and Andrew (Jane) Ford; sister-in-law, Sherry (Terry) Littleton; aunt, Gaye Zink; uncles, Michael (Sally) Ford and David (Margie) Schockman; nieces and nephews, Kathryn Ford, Terry Littleton Jr., Anthony (Jessica) Littleton, Matthew Littleton, and Zachary Littleton; and cousins, James (Diane) Ford, Anne Marie (Mike) Hawla, Chad Zink, Terri(Robert) Bornhauser, Lisa (Joe) Ervin, and Amy Schockman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen (Bockenthien) Ford.
