Peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospital on December 4, 2011 in his 82nd year.

Beloved husband of Elide for 54 years. Loving father of Sandra, Robert and his wife Carrie. Nonno

will be sadly missed by his grandchildren John-Paul, Ryan, David, Madison, Madeline and Mackenzie.

Devoted son of the late Angelo and Teresa Torresin. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Gerardo and Gina Torresin, Walter and Rosetta Torresin, Teresina and Luigi Bottero, Zita and the late Angelo Rossetto, Clemente and Assunta Torresin, Antonilia and Valentino Fior, Antonio and Regina Torresin, Assunta and the late Giovanni Pavan. Albert will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Hamilton, Halton Hills and Italy. He will be truly missed but never forgotten by his dearest friends.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital Emergency and Intensive Care Unit and CBI personal support workers for their dedicated care and compassion over the years. Special thanks to Sharon Macpherson for her loving care.

Family will receive friends at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Cross Croatian Church on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
