CHERNETS, Alice (nee Cowles)     Peacefully, in her 85th year on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter and son Joseph. Loving mother of Peter (Karen), Ed (Heather), Barbara (Michael) Husul, Mary (Tom) Farraway, Michael, and Alice (Dan) Murphy. Precious grandmother of Aaron (Allison), Matthew (Jessica), Ksenia (Thomas), Jesse, Joey (Gladys), Magenta (Sari), Michael (Isa), Kathleen, Peter, Charlie, Emily (Joel), Sarah (Morgan) and Danielle. Great grandmother of Nicholas, Serena, Indigo, Azura and Etienne. Sister-in-law of Lillian Cowles. Predeceased by brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack (Verna), George, Frank (Vera), Nellie, Frances (Charlie), Dan (Torshie), Michael, and Paul. Alice enjoyed traveling and was a long time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She was an adored, loyal and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. She will be truly missed by family and friends but she will always remain in our hearts. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Sunday, March 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, 416 Mohawk Rd. E., on Monday, March 31st at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
