Amelia Costantini

Peacefully at her home on Friday, July 22, 2011 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Filippo (2007) and the late Gino Balestra (1958). Cherished and loving mother of Joseph, Frank, Amedeo, Mario, Brenda and Philip Jr. and the late Steve and daughters-in-law Francine, Claire, Loretta, Susan, Helena, Dena, Michelle and son-in-law Sam Servello. Loving nonna of 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Catherine (Michelle), the late Luigi (Elizabeth) and sister-in-law of Teresa Croce of Italy. Predeceased by her parents Biagio and Rosaria. Amelia will be fondly remembered by her many brothers and sisters-in-law of the Costantini family, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends. Special thanks to Rhonda from Care Plus and to dearest neighbours Frank and Maria Colella. The family will receive friends at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday and Tuesday from 5-9 pm with Vigil Prayers Tuesday at 5:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene’s Church (corner of Parkdale and Queenston) on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 9:30am. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Holy Souls Mausoleum.
