Sadly we announce the passing of a dear grandmother on September 22, 2016 in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Frank and daughters Helen and Leslie. Deeply missed by her loving grandchildren Craig (Mary) Wesley, Chris (Kathy) Wesley, Jeffrey Mooney and Jamie (Shad) Sodergard. Great grandma of Alexandra, Jennifer, Victoria, Thomas, Kayla, Lia and Nolan. Predeceased by her sister Jessie. A special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital ALC Unit for their care and support. Amy loved to cook. She would always ask "what can I make you"? Amy was always hospitable to those who popped in for a visit. She always had a kind heart and food ready to serve. She will be remembered for her giving nature and loving ways. She will be dearly missed. Visitation for Amy will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
