Andy Wotherspoon

Surrounded by the love of his family, Andy passed into the arms of the Lord on May 15, 2016 in his 85th year. Cherished husband of 20 years to Shirley. Loving and devoted father to Yvonne (Rick), Lance (predeceased) (Wendy), Carol (Tony), Andrew (Deb), Holly and Nadine (Ron). Loving grandpa to 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends. Andy was a longtime member and elder at Roxborough Park Church. He was a Veteran of the British Royal Air Force and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and A.F. & A.M. Lodge 602. Andy had a passion for golf. He and Shirley could be found golfing at the Orr Lake Golf Course where they are members. Andy also enjoyed fishing and most importantly his time with his family. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service in Celebration of Andy's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
