Our family has gained a new guardian angel. Peacefully, with family at her side at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 2013 in her 92nd year. Loving mother to Monica (Zyg) Matuszewski and Rosemary (Rod) Cliffe. Oma to Paul Matuszewski, Tracina Pearce and Matthew Cliffe. Great Grandma to Zachary and Emily Matuszewski, Sloan and unborn Pearce and Jack and Paisley Cliffe. Mom leaves behind friends and family here and in Germany. Special thanks to the staff on Fir Terrace (St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke) for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) 905-549-2417 on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
