

Ann was predeceased by her husband Leon (2007) and her mother Helen (2020). Treasured daughter of Fred and beloved mother of Denis (Stefanie) and Kelly. Ann was adored Nana of Charlotte and Henry. She is greatly missed by her brother Brad (Brenda) and sisters-in-law Olya Hluchaniuk (Lubomyr) and Mary Kolkin (the late George). She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Ann was passionate about calligraphy and was a founding member of the Hamilton Calligraphy Guild. Summer was her favourite time of year. She loved reading, being poolside, and letting loose on her Dora weekends. Ann enjoyed baking and her pies and shortbread were legendary. She was a loving cat mom to Webster, Quigley and Harley.
Ann worked at Dofasco for several years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She returned to the work force at McMaster University in the Department of Surgery, then the Department of Medicine. She retired in 2020.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Tuesday, February 28th between 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral will be held at 11am on Wednesday March 1, 2023 in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bob Kemp Hospice or the Cancer Assistance Program.
