KOSICKI; Anna: Passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, on Tuesday March 8th, 2022 at the age of 81. Predeceased by her loving husband Zygmunt Kosicki. Beloved mother of Richard Kosicki (wife Dorthy) and Doris Franklin (husband Neil). Cherished “Babcia” of Joshua, Sebastian, Kyle, and Kimberly. Dear sister of Zofia Pieta (the late Mieczyslaw), and Jadwiga Pietras (the late Tadeusz). Predeceased by siblings Helena Maciejski (Jozef), Waclaw Grzegorczyk (Irena), Maria Olender (Ignacy), Stanislawa Zwierzynski (Ryszard), Tadeusz Grzegorczyk. Anna will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members both here in Canada and overseas. Anna was the president and proud member of Kolo Polek (the Polish Women Circle), as well as a proud member of Zwiazkowiec Gr. 2 (Polish Alliance of Canada Br.2), and Bractwo Niewiast Rozanca Sw. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, love, and compassion by everyone who met her. Family will receive friends during visitation at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street E. (at the Delta) on Monday, March 14th from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (with parish prayers to be held at 8:30 p.m.). Masks are required. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Polish Church, 8 St Ann Street, on Tuesday March 15th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Anna made to St. Stanislaus’s Parish Restoration Fund, the Diabetes Association, or the Bob Kemp Hospice would be gratefully appreciated.
