Anna Leonella Rendulich

Born in Boljun, Istria, Croatia on March 7, 1933, Anna immigrated to Canada and settled in Hamilton. She was predeceased by her devoted husband and best friend Matt (Mate) Rendulich. Beloved mother of Anthony and his wife Kim of Calgary, and Linda and her husband Michael Cann of Pickering. Proud and loving Nona of Sam, Maggie, Annika and Madeline. Dear sister of Sonja Nainar of Toronto and Umberto Ribarich of Calgary. She was treasured and loved by her family.

Anna is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends across Canada, the United States, Croatia, Italy and Chile. She will be fondly remembered by her dear friends Carol Zvonar and John & Claire Ceric and their families. Her presence will also be missed by the friends she made over the past two years at the Viva Retirement Community in Pickering.

Anna was predeceased by her cherished parents, Antonia Peruc and Mate Ribarich and her brother Mario Ribarich.

Visitation will be held at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) in Hamilton on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service on Friday at 7:15 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East, Hamilton, with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Anna’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church would be appreciated.
