Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Sikora (1957). Mother of Michael Sikora (Cindy Dyck) of B.C., and Daniel Sikora (Vicki) of Hamilton. Grandmother of Allison Brachman and Joelle Sikora. Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret Lennox and by brothers Armand, Sheldon and Hugh. Survived by her sister-in-law Eleanor Lennox and by many nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed her many cat companions through the years, she also enjoyed reading about the history of Hamilton and writing poetry. She was a past employee and involved with the Canadian Hearing Society. Cremation has taken place. A memorial Service will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton (east of Sanford Avenue) on Friday, July 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. On-line tributes may be made at www.marlattfhhamilton.com.
