Barica Mus

It is with heavy hearts that we say good-bye to a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, nana and friend. Barica passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 in her 65th year. She will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her devoted husband Danijel of 48 years. Cherished mother to daughter Nancy and son-in-law Darren Godfrey, son Daniel and daughter-in-law Joanne Mus. Treasured nana to Noah and Ethan Godfrey and Adina Mus. Dearest daughter to Ana Jarnevic . Dear sister of Marica and her husband Miro Barberic, sister-in-law to Dr Ivan Mus, Angela Mus, Janko and Snjezana Mus, Mika and Sonja Mus and Ruzica Obrovac (the late Darko). Dear aunt of Andreja and Matija (Iva) Barberic and their daughter Rafaela, Andrea, Daniella, Stephanie, Goran (Iva) and their daughter Mila, Miko, Ivan, Ivana and Davor Mus. Barica will be remembered by many family and friends in Croatia and Canada. She has been reunited with her loving father Franjo, and father in law Janko Mus and mother in law Danica. Barica was a long time active member of the Croatian National Home, the Golden Girls Club and Katolicke Zene at Holy Cross Church. Barica has a passion for shopping, snapping pictures, entertaining, but mostly for spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was their greatest fan when it came to hockey, soccer, baseball and dance. Family will receive friends at the Markey Dermody Funeral, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Rosary service on Thursday at 7:45pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In Barica’s memory, donations to Holy Cross Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
