Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday, September 21, 2012 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his dearly beloved wife Margaret (2003). Cherished father of Darlene (Joe) DeFaria, Donna (Mike) Sells, Debbie McPhee and Mike (Maria). Dearest pops, grandpa and papa of ten grandchildren and greatgrandpa of three. Bernard was born into a family of 13 in North Sydney, Nova Scotia and is a retired employee of Ford Canada with 41 years of service. A very special thank you to the supportive staff on 3W at St. Peter’s Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A funeral Mass with be celebrated from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
