JURIANSZ, Brian Desmond It is with profound love and hope that we announce the passing of Pastor Brian on October 11, 2011 in his 87th year at the Juravinski Hospital. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife Daphne. Lovingly remembered by children, Roseanne (Don Bacchus), Rosemary (Gerry Okimi), Rosalie (Bruce Rasmussen) Darrel (Karen) and Leyanne (Richard Roschman); fourteen grandchildren and their four spouses, three great-grandchildren. He will be missed by siblings, Eric (Joyce), Ralph (Myrtle), Christobel Jansz (Shelly deceased), Claribel (Barrie Cooper), Allan (Ruth) and in-laws Aubrey Corteling (Joy) Joy Juriansz and many more family and friends. Predeceased by brothers Frank and Robert (Marge), sisters Marjorie McHeyzer (Clarence) and Thelma Luchow (Mike). Brian has been a teacher and pastor with the Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1942. "Sleep in Jesus, awaiting the call of the Lifegiver." Visitation on Wednesday, October 12, from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday, October 13, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue East. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 14th, at 7 p.m. at Heritage Green Seventh Day Adventist Church, 349 Isaac Brock Dr., Stoney Creek. A private burial has taken place. Special thanks to the physicians, nurses and staff at the Juravinski Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brian Juriansz Memorial Fund at the Heritage Green Seventh Day Adventist Church, which he was instrumental in building.
