Entered into this world in Tallacano, Ascoli Piceno, Italy on Easter Sunday, 1935 and passed away peacefully Easter Weekend on April 23, 2011 two days after his 76th Birthday. Leaving to mourn his beloved wife, whom he shared over 50 years of marriage with, Adriana, and loving children Joanne Miceli (Sam), and Paolo (Tammy). Cherished Nonno to Adrienne and Daniel Miceli. Will be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ada (John), Aldo (Evelyn) and Tony (Antoinette), Vincenza, Carlo, Armindo and Tom. Gone to be reunited with his loving parents Antonio and Palmira, and his brothers and sisters Graziella (Remo), Giovanni, Gina, Angelina (Quirino), Elvira (Francesco), Ida and Giulia. Carlo will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. A strong and hard working man with 10 years of service at Hamilton Wire, eventually retiring from Stelco after 27 years of dedicated service. An avid gardener, Carlo loved being in his backyard. While tending to his garden he also managed to fit in providing his family with the best weekend BBQ’s. He wasn’t much of an athlete but he was his grandkids biggest fan, rarely missing any game or performance. He was well known throughout the Rosedale community and touched everyone he met with his warm personality and charming sense of humor. The family will receive friends at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, April 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Monday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 128 Edgemont Ave., on Tuesday, April 26 at 10 a.m. Entombment in Bayview Mausoleum to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity close to your own heart would be greatly appreciated by the family. Carlo, you have gone but will never be forgotten.
