FORD, Carole Elizabeth Peacefully with family by her side on Friday, August 2, 2013 at McNally House Hospice. Beloved wife and best friend of James. Predeceased by son Kenneth. Loving mother to Dawn Black and Nancy (Peter) Christie. Devoted Grandmother to Drew, Erin, Zachary, Lisa, Grace, Megan and Liam. Cherished sister to Rosemary (Jim) Best, Nancy (Fred) Dayman, Shirley Ann (Sonny) Hammer, Ted (Carol) Austin and Cousin Jim (Lynne) Austin. Sister-in-law to Arlene (David) Pettersen, Susan VanderRyd and Muriel Fredson deceased. Family to Bill, Michael and John Black. Carole was a graduate of the St. Joseph's School of Nursing, class of 1962 and spent 35 years providing care and comfort to her many charges. She was a kind and generous person who will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her many friends and family. A special thank you from Jim and family to Dr. Kim Bender, nurse Michelle and the wonderful Palliative team and volunteers at McNally House. At Carole's request a cremation has already taken place.
