He is predeceased by his wife Gretta, brothers Russell, Bill and sister Kathleen. He was a loving Dad to Brian (Kim), Brenda (Larry) and Tara as well as a loving Grandfather to Shannon, Maisie, Jack and Brooke. He will be missed by his sister-in-law Dorothy along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Charlie worked at Stelco Hamilton Works for over 20 years and retired in 2001. Prior to that he worked at Union Gas in Hamilton. In his retirement he was an avid woodcarver who had a knack for creating lifelike birds and animals. He also loved to sing karaoke. We are without the man who taught us to laugh, sing and love unconditionally. A light has gone out in our lives. We miss him dearly. Special thanks to Dr. Cheung and nurses Lovepreet and Florentina at St. Joseph's hospital for their compassion and care.
