

She is reunited with those who predeceased her, parents Regino Benito and Arsenia Eijansantos, her younger brothers Gregorio, Antonio, Joe, her sister Meding, and her sister-in-law Jean. She leaves behind her family who loves her dearly, sister-in-law Alma, cousins Elena Lalonde (and Mike), Nap and Cora Benito, Chris Aberilla (and Gaspar), Ben Bernardo, nephews Ben (and Marilou) and Kenneth (and Sharon) and nieces Pilar (and Rob) and Leonora (and Richard). She was a loved grandaunt “Lola” to Bronson, Ethan, Kailene, Kole, Noah, Connor, William, Davis, Gabrielle, Elise, and Jesse. She will be missed by many more relatives and friends from around the world. She rejoins the many friends and family who predeceased her who enjoyed her company at the casino and at many social events. She will be remembered as a respected head nurse both in the Philippines and at St. Peter’s in Hamilton and as a very strong generous soul who loved her family and friends. A special thank you to her second family Jemelle, Kevin, Marlyn, Justin and the staff at Casa Reyna for all the love and care she received there for the past 2 years. Also to Maria her PSW who provided excellent care to her for many years.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave E. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 4pm-8pm. Vigil Prayers to be said at 7:30pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 620 Rymal Road E. on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 11am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
