Cliff & Jean were married at St. John's Anglican Church in Ancaster, November 16, 1957 and were members of West Highland Baptist Church and attended for over 20 years. When Covid shut down services, Cliff and Jean faithfully watched church on-line up to the present time. Cliff’s faith journey started as a child while attending Delta Tabernacle in Hamilton.
Cliff worked at The American Can Company, later known as Ball Packaging as a Quality Inspector and Machine Operator for over 40 years and retired at the age of 60.
After retirement, Cliff & Jean enjoyed travelling and would spend winters in Clearwater Florida. They travelled to various destinations including Hawaii, Bahamas, Las Vegas, California, British Columbia and took many trips around southern Ontario, and enjoyed summer vacations with family in the Collingwood area.
Cliff was a man defined by love and devotion for his family and by kindness, devotion and genuine care for others. He had a great sense of humor and would always have a joke to share to make you smile. He will be missed more than words can say but his love and compassion will continue to shine through his family and all those who loved him.
Special thanks to St. Joes Healthcare Hamilton, the physicians, and nurses on Mary Grace 5 as well as the Palliative Care team for their compassionate care and support.
A private service will take place followed by internment at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.
