With much sadness we announce the peaceful passing of David, a man who gave his entire existence to his sons, “all” he had - emotionally, financially, physically, mentally – he sacrificed and worked to give every penny to them. David was the best football father ever, whether a coach, owner, founder, father or fan, he lived for the game. Everyone would mention how Dave Sr./Mr. C. was one of the best. Cherished father and best friend of David and Christopher (deceased). Dearly loved son of Ronald and Bernice. He loved his family and will be sadly missed by his siblings Ronald (Sheila), Barb (Steve), Karen and Gord. He will be sadly missed by many relatives especially his nieces and nephews. He gave everything he had to Madelyn, Dave and Chris Cuthbertson fighting to the very end for them. Heartfelt thanks to “Coz” for his love and support. Many thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Care and the Juravinski Cancer Centre especially Trish (Dr. Arnold’s Nurse) for her guidance and support. A very special thank you to Dr. Slaven, her nurse Dorothy and the staff at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, all of whom made this journey a little more bearable. David loved nature, the wilderness, enjoying fishing, camping and farm life. He was a proud Canadian. David was the definition of a “working man” and will be missed by his friends at the Carpenters Union Local 18. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME "Fennell Chapel", 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations the to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
