Surrounded by his family Lorne passed away on December 15th, 2011 at the age of 91. Beloved and devoted husband of Margaret Buist. Loving father of Barry (Sue), Marion and Cathy (Jake). He will be lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Jamie, Jodie (Cody), Alex and Alaine (Tony). Lorne was a WWII Veteran, and was stationed in England with the RAF. Upon his return, he joined the Hamilton Fire Department where he served a Captain for 34 years until his retirement in 1980.
No one knows how much we will miss you. no one knows the bitter pain we will suffer. In our hearts your memory will linger. There will not be a day dear father that we will not think of you. Love you this much.
