Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Peter's Hospital on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at the age of 56. Dearly beloved wife of Dan Mack and cherished mother of Carly and Parker. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Susie Ring, Carroll Alkerton (Peter), Sharon Flett (Larry) and by her brothers Jack and Robert. Also remembered by her brothers-in-law Donald, Alec, James and Brian, by her sister-in-law Gloria, her nieces Kallie, Dayna, Cassandra, Terry and nephews Bobby, Ryan and David. Special thanks to all of Denise's special friends for all their loving support as well as the doctors and nurses at the Juravinski and St. Peter's Hospitals. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held from MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (at Kenilworth Ave.) on Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. up until service time at 2 p.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
