

She leaves to mourn her passing her son David, granddaughter Camille, great grandsons Qais and Kairo, as well as brothers and sisters in Canada and Trinidad. Dinah T. Thompson (nee Marcellin) was born on the island of Trinidad to McDonald and Lenora Marcellin. She was the eldest of 14 children. Dinah received her secondary education at Bates Memorial High School in Sangre Grande, Trinidad and received her Registered Nursing and Midwifery education at Luton and Dunstable Hospital in England. She migrated to Canada and worked in Healthcare facilities in Hamilton and Windsor for many years. Dinah enjoyed travelling and visited the Caribbean, U.S.A and Europe. She loved Paris. Dinah was an elegant dresser and was very stylish and chic.
She never refused an offer to visit a great restaurant, but she also enjoyed fine dining at home using her fine china, silverware and crystal glasses. She enjoyed fellowship with her family and presiding over family gatherings.
Dinah spent the last years of her life at the Heritage Green Nursing Home in Stoney Creek, Ontario. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends in Trinidad, Canada and the U.S.A Special thanks to the Administrator and staff of Heritage Green Nursing Home for their excellent care. Private Family Service will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home with Interment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
