It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald John Wallace. He was surrounded by his loving family as he crossed over to reunite with his son Ryan Thomas Wallace (2010). Dearly missed by his wife Deborah of 41 years, daughters Kimberly (James) and Shannon (Tim). Cherished grandpa of Timmy and Clayton. Dear son of Marie and step father Hank DeBruin. Remembered by brother Rob (Barb) and sister Linda (Edo). Son-in-law of Beatrice Whitehall, brother-in-law of Brenda Whitehall, Betty King and Bob (Pat) Whitehall. Will be missed by nieces, nephews family and friends. Don was a huge sports lover. From racing go carts and playing hockey in his earlier years to attending football games (Ti-Cats!) and watching races at the Oshweken Speedway. Most notably, he was an avid guitar player/music lover, from an early age. Rebuilding guitars and making music were his passion. As a former electrician at U.S Steele Lake Erie Work (Stelco), he was our go-to-guy for any electronic repairs. Most often, everyone's computer repair nerd. Don loved motorcycles, old cars and attending cruise nights. Although, those who knew him well knew that his favorite "cruise nights" were with his best pal, Lacey in the back of his run down Bonneville. Thank you to ICU Juravinski Hospital for their valiant efforts and support through this difficult time. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Wednesday, March 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 31st at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
