Peacefully passed away at his Queen's Garden home on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in his 70th year. Loving husband of Cheryll. Cherished father of Debbie (Jamie) and Chris. Proud grandpa of Miranda, Jenn, Matt and Lee. Son of the late John and Aileen. Doug will also be missed by his extended family and friends. He retired from Stelco after 34 years of service. Doug's family would like to thank the entire team at Queen's Garden L.T.C. Residence, notably Dundurn Neighbourhood for the wonderful care they provided. A Celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Glendale Golf & Country Club, 401 Mt. Albion Road, Hamilton on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Memories will be shared at 2:30 pm.
