Edward "Ted" Charles Lovie

Beloved father of Ciara Lovie (DJ Janveau) and cherished Papa to Daelin and Calysa. Dear brother of Mike (Paula), George, Kerry, and Kelly, and lovingly remembered by his stepmother, Deb. Ted was predeceased by his parents, George and Carol Lovie, and by his ex-wife, Margaret Lovie (2023).

Ted will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his strong work ethic, and his willingness to lend a helping hand especially when it came to building, painting, concrete, and asphalt work. Ted took great pleasure in life’s simple joys, including sharing a good meal particularly his favourite meat and potatoes and was well known for his delicious homemade pasta sauce. He also enjoyed relaxing with a Corona in the company of his good friends from his residence building.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Juravinski Hospital and Bob Kemp Hospice for their care and support.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
