Passed peacefully on October 28, 2017 at Colonel By Retirement Residence in Ottawa in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Arthur Richard Butson. Dear mother of Rick Butson. Survived by her brother John. Eileen was a veteran in her own right, holding the Canadian Forces Decoration and the Defence of Britain medal from WW2. She had a passion for gardening and reading. A graveside service will take place at Springcreek Cemetery (section R 59), 1390 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga, on Monday, November 6th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Foundation.
