Elizabeth "Betty" Florence Georgeoff

Cherished and loving mother of Susan Hayes (Rick), Jeffrey (Jeannette), Robert, and Peter (Debbie). Adored Gramma/Nanny of Julia (Jacques), Lindsay (Dave), Mitchell, Michael, Chelsea, Michelle (Jeff), Connor and Sierra and best GiGi to Hadleigh. Predeceased by her sister Olive Hazel. Betty will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Betty was very active in St. Paul's United Church for many years, where she made some life long friendships. She was an avid gardener, loved her cottage and trailer at Lake Erie and was constantly redecorating. She had a large group of wonderful friends who had a lot of good times together, she's the last of the "Golden Girls". The last few years of her life, Betty was suffering from Alzheimer's but she was constantly surrounded by the love of her family and that brought her great comfort. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

Visitation at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
