It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our most beloved mother in her 84th year. Elza was born in Thuin, Belgium. She will be greatly missed by her children Judy (Peter) McHarg and Mark Zsemberi (Jeanette Schroder). She was the best grandmother of Scott, Andrea and Devan McHarg and Jensen Zsemberi. Survived by brothers Roger Bodnar (Odette Piret) and Eric Bodnar (Marthe Dubuc), nephews Olivier, Christophe, Laurant and Franck; and great-nephew Elyas. Predeceased by parents Jean and Vilma Bodnar and brother Emile Bodnar (Josette Mansart). Elza was a retired employee of Mohawk Hospital Services. Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Friend, she will be missed by many. Family and friends will be welcomed at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton for visitation on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. The Chapel service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
