

Errol was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago to Elaine Rita Ceasar & Roy Arnott Lashley on December 8th, 1943.
He leaves to mourn his siblings, Judith (Gilbert) and Keith (Lindy-Ann). Uncle to, Peggy-Anne "Michelle", Miguel (Maria), Peter (Iris), Kenwyn (Sheila), Keli (Richard) and Crystal "DeNiece" (Jashai). Great uncle to Stephan, Kenneth, Deshawn, Jacqueline, Mathis, Rhiannan, Sy'rei, Tahj Amari, and Saela Amaya. Loving partner to Angela Quildon Dauda.
Errol was a graduate of Fatima College and Mausica Teachers college in Trinidad, after immigrating to Canada in 1969. He furthered his studies at McMaster University and Mohawk College. He taught in the Catholic School system for a short while, and then went on to work in the public sector until his retirement in 2009 from the IT department at Niagara General Hospital.
After retirement, Errol put his knowledge into practice and started a blog for his Alma Mater, Mausica Teachers College. Posting and connecting its members to information and activities as he received it.
His social activities he engaged in were attending dances, travelling, brewing his own wine, and listening to Jazz and steel band music - especially the Trinidad All Stars, known for their signature rendition of, "Woman on the base".
Errol will be missed by his family, friends, co-workers and the many acquaintances he encountered during his life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM at Markey Dermody Funeral Home 1774 King Street E., Hamilton. A Chapel Service will begin at 1:00 PM followed by burial at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
