I had the pleasure of working with Errol at Hotel Dieu Hospital in St. Catharines.  He worked for IT department.  He was always so kind and helpful.  We shared a love of jazz and we would enjoy our talks as well as work.  He will be remembering with great fondness.  I express my deepest sympathy to the family.  He was a good man.

Condolences to the family of  Uncle Errol. I am thankful for the memories and conversation shared while walking blocks around Hamilton , toasting with your wines and the many times you drove me and family around Hamilton for the experience.

Dear Errol’s Family,

It is with profound sadness that I share my condolences for Errol’s passing. Errol and I became friends through work, and from the very start, we discovered that we shared a sharp and witty sense of humor. What began as a workplace camaraderie soon grew into a treasured friendship beyond the office, one that was always filled with laughter, warmth, and genuine connection.

Whenever we met for dinner or chatted over FaceTime, our conversations were full of joy, with smiles and laughter that lingered long after we said goodbye. His ability to lift spirits and bring happiness to those around him was a gift, one I was lucky to experience time and time again.

Our last exchange was in January, when I received his customary birthday email, an annual tradition that never failed to leave me laughing so hard that tears streamed down my face. Today, those tears flow again, but now they carry sorrow, for the loss of not only a dear friend but a truly remarkable person who brightened the lives of so many.

I will miss Errol deeply. My sincerest condolences to all of you. May you find comfort in knowing how much he was loved and how many hearts he touched.

I first met Errol around the time that we were both approaching our 15th birthdays.
We both lived on opposite sides of the Diego Martin Police Station.
Errol’s Dad was at the time the Police Sargent in charge of the Diego Martin Police Station.

My Dad was one of the Constables assigned to that Station.
We both appreciated the unspoken level of protection and privilege that such proximity to the station seemed to afford us. 

Errol was a fierce competitor and a competent cricketer. He was an all-rounder at the level of the other players with whom we practiced. 

A very methodical student, I can remember that he passed his O-Level Cambridge Examinations at the highest Level - Grade One.

Errol  lived in Canada for the better part of his adult years.  I met briefly with him a few times in adulthood during his visits to Trinidad and Tobago, I could  tell that his entire professional career had been gilded by his penchant for logical thinking.

Let me extend Sincerest Condolences to Judith and Keith and their entire respective families on the occasion of Errol’s transition to the Great Beyond.

My darling Erry as I called you.  I will remember your birthday wishes as you were the day before me.  I will miss that smile and laugh and also your dancing with that dip.  Rest in eternal peace my dear one loved you

The graduates of Mausica Teachers' College - Trinidad, Tobago and Grenada, are deeply saddened by Errol's passing.  Errol was a member of the first group of graduates from the newly established 2 year co-ed, residential teachers' college (1963-1965).

Errol created and maintained an online avenue where the graduates shared memories, celebrated achievements, advertised events and engaged in "ole talk".  This blog brought Mausicans  together and kept us together for a number of years.  Errol gave his time generously; promptly entering our submissions weekly and we came to rely on him for keeping us well connected.  He is also one of the few graduates who attended every reunion, no matter where the event was held.  

Words cannot express how deeply we will miss him.
