Passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 25, 2016 surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his 2 brothers Leon and Vytas with wife Aldona, and his sister Birute, predeceased by brothers Bronius and Jonas and niece Vida. He also leaves behind nieces Nora, Irene, Rita, nephews Leon and Arvydas, and great-nieces Emily, Julia, Katherine and Andrea. Thank you for all the care and assistance Evaristas received so that he could remain in his home. Visitation will be held at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (East of Sanford), Hamilton, on Tuesday, September 27th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Rosary to be held at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 58 Dundurn St. North, Hamilton, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery, Mississauga.
