Frances "Diane" Emond

Beloved wife of Michael Emond for 60 years. Loving mother of Christopher Emond (Pam), Jeanette Brown (Terry), Michelle Covey (David), Nicole Emond, and David Emond. Proud and loving Nanny to grandchildren Sarah, Victoria, Hannah, Laura, Emma, Vanessa, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Jordan, Zachary, Alex, Marcel, Eric, and Yvonne and great-grandchildren Kiara, Kendrick, Violet, and Max. She will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings John (Diane), Bruce (Lisa), Brian (Pearl), Marilyn (Late Doug), and Joan (Tom) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Trevor and Elenna Dodd and her brother Gord.

Diane was born at the Henderson Hospital in 1945; she attended Central and Barton High School and she was a lifetime resident of Hamilton. She met the love of her life, Mike, at Westinghouse and dedicated the rest of her life to raising her children and grandchildren. The most important thing in her life was her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton on Tuesday, January 21st from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. The Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Cresmount Chapel on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11 am. Cremation will follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by her family.
