

Frank passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, on December 1, 2011. Frank is survived by his loving spouse Marlene; dearly missed by his children, David, Brian (Barbara) and Karen (Rob); step-children, Terry (Jessica), Jon and Suzy (Bruce) and beloved Poppa to grandchildren, Nick, Lyndsay, Lucas, Ian, Erika, Avery, Alexandria, James, Emma, Carolyn and Hillary; siblings, Marie, Alice, Joe (Margaret) and Margaret, all of Glasgow. Predeceased by parents Annie and James Lilley and birth father John Thompson. Frank was born November 17, 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1968. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers of Canada, Local Lodge 128, from 1968 and retired as a Boilermaker in 2001. He was also an avid Glasgow Celtic fan and a member of the Jock Stein Memorial Celtic Supporters Club of Hamilton. Frank's family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Bev Hattersly and the wonderful staff at St. Peter's for their warmth and compassion.
