Gates passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on October 17, 2022 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Diane for 25 beautiful years. Loving step-father of Robert, Terry (Karen) and Mark and step grandpa of Asher, Layla and McKenna. Cherished by his sisters Shirley Walker, Raymonde Morin and brother Gilbert Morin and nieces and nephew. He will be missed by his many friends. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a devout member to his parish, Notre Dame Du Perpetuel Secours. Gates loved hunting and fishing when he had the time. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
