Passed away surrounded by his loving family, at the Juravinski Hospital, on Saturday, November 8, 2014, in his 65th year. Beloved husband for 40 years of Brenda. Just hours before his passing, he joyfully witnessed the marriage of his daughter Kelly to Nathan Harris and his son Paul to Audrey Naluz-Crevar. He will also be missed by his brothers, John (Barb), Adam (Sara) and Karl (the late Joan), as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Marko and Dorothea and his sister Annie. George had a great sense of humour and was an avid Blue Jays Fan. He loved classic cars, listening to music, riding roller coasters, comic books and Star Trek. He was a real family man, enjoying many trips and special moments with those he loved. An eternal optimist, critical thinker and problem solver, George exhibited great strength in all he did. The family will receive friends at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. East, (east of Sanford), on Tuesday, November 11th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of George's life will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
