Loving father to Valerie Bowerman (Chris) and Patti McLaughlin (Paul). Predeceased by his cherished daughter Janice Foster (1980). Proud and devoted Papa to Cole and Owen Bowerman. George is predeceased by his sister Margaret Foster and brother John Foster. He will be deeply missed by his sisters-in-law Marg Dillon, Mabel Ellas, and Linda Dunsby (Bob), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
George was a retired member of the Hamilton Sheet Metal Union #537, a talented woodworker, and an avid golfer who took great joy in his hobbies and community. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for their exceptional care and support. In keeping with George’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in his memory.
