Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the G.N.F. General Hospital in his 87th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Pauline for 65 years. Beloved father of Tom and Dianne, and Anne and Terry. Grandfather of Jesse (Ashley), Erin and Tim (Janet). Great-grandfather of Parker. Survived by his sisters-in-law Bessie King and Philnese King, and many nieces and nephews. Gerry was a proud Veteran of the Second World War in the Air Force and former employee of the T.H. & B. Railway. He enjoyed playing euchre at the R.H.L.I. At Gerry’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will take place at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, on Saturday, March 31st, 2012 at 1 p.m., with visiting one hour prior. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
