Beloved Husband of Eleanor (Yates) for 60 years. Grant will be deeply missed by his daughter Catherine (Tim) and son David (Smilja). Loving Grandfather to Laura, Elaine, Aleksandra and Natasha. Survived by his sisters Donna Cole and Marijane Rollins plus many nieces, nephews and their children.
Grant was an employee of GM Oshawa for over 30 years. Upon retirement , Grant and Eleanor enjoyed decades spending summers at their cottage near Gooderham. Grant loved his dogs and his Granddaughters dogs.Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Thank you to the team at Bob Kemp Hospice and the countless Doctors and Nurses that provided care and support over the past year. In lieu of flowers, Grant and his family would appreciate donations if desired to Bob Kemp Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society, or Renascent Foundation.
