Harold Albert Duncan

After a lengthy battle with Lewy Body Disease we announce with great sadness the passing of my beloved Husband and our much loved Dad, Harold on Wednesday, September 25th, 2013, age 81. Devoted Husband to Donna (nee Place) and loving and proud Dad to Lori (John) Lezon, Julie Duncan and Paul (Pam) Duncan. He was an amazing Pappa and friend to Mathew, Aaron, Colin, Liam, Alexander and Michael. Son of the late Irene French and nephew to Ruth (Harry) Griffiths and Shirley Hack. Harold will be forever remembered for his always present smile, quick wit and easy going manner. He cherished his many friendships especially those who were daring enough to challenge him to a golf match. Friends may call at the UPPER JAMES CHAPEL of CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 1020 Upper James Street, on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Please join us following the service for a reception to Celebrate Harold's Life and to share our memories. Private Interment will take place at a later time. Our sincere thanks to the devoted staff at Regina Gardens Nursing Home, Mohawk Trail Unit. In lieu of flowers, we graciously ask that donations be made to Regina Gardens Residence Fund to be used on the Mohawk Trail Unit or the Children's Wish Foundation.
