Harry John Thomas Stubbs

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Harry on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Emmanuel House Hospice at the age of 81. Loving and devoted husband of Laura (nee Harper). Cherished father of Tom Stubbs (Lisa), and Jennifer Ide (Chris). Loved step-father of Tom MacLeod (Cheryl), and Elizabeth Gilmour (Arch). Proud grandfather of Brett, who was at his side everyday during his illness, Eric, Jake, Madison, the late Ross, Alex, William, Noah, Ben, Ty, Justin, Jessica, Jenna, Hailey, T.J. and many great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Elaine Gross (Merv), Wendy Booker (Alan), and Gail Prudden (Mark) and brothers-in-law John Harper (Sue), and Bill Harper (Sue). Predeceased by his brother Tommy Stubbs. Harry will always be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Harry retired from the H.S.R. after 26 years of dedicated service. He will be fondly remembered by his many colleagues. Following Harry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.
