I just found out about Helen’s passing. We were neighbors until 2005 and I kept in touch about every year or so, dropping by for a visit 
Helen was a wonderful woman, proud of her family. She always spoke about them and planned gifts out with great thought. She was a dear friend to me when my son was ill, helping in any way. Both my children have a nice coin collection as she always bought them the new coin of the year for their birthdays. I know Les had a great collection they were proud of.  
I will always think of Helen with love. Sorry I missed her funeral. 

We have many fond memories of our dear friend and neighbour "Miss Helen". We remember when Israel heard the neighbourhood kids calling her Helen and he said no that is not right we need to give her some respect as an older  person so that is how the name "Miss Helen" came to be.  Everyone in the neighbourhood called her that and she really loved that.  
We fondly remember our day trips to the States, we had many laughs and fun! We remember searching every store for personalized items for her grandchildren.
When we got our puppies, Chiquita and Moreno, she was enamoured with them and they brightened her day when they visited.  She cared for them as they were her own and she became their  "pet grandma" spoiling them with treats.  We even had to be careful with them in the front yard because if they saw Miss Helen outside they would bolt over to visit her.  We know they will miss her very much.

Miss Helen was our second mother and will will miss her very dearly.  We were privileged to have her in our lives.  Will will miss her wit, kindness and yes even her stubborness.  We love you Miss Helen.

Thinking of the whole family right now. She will always be remembered fondly and I feel so lucky to have been a part of many family gatherings, sharing her company. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  God bless

We moved in our first home across from  you in 2002,  We were truly blessed to have you in our lives. Alexis and Salena will always talk about you especially when they would have a hotdog and cola picnic on your driveway.  I will always be grateful to you for spending your time with our girls and for your words of wisdom to both Angelo and I. You will be forevwr missed and in our hearts.

Although my heart is broken right now, I am grateful for the fact that I have so many memories, and had been given the gift of getting to know my grandma not just through the eyes of a little girl who couldn’t wait to eat her lemon meringue pies, but also through the eyes of a woman who stood side by side with her learning how to bake those pies. Now I find comfort in the fact that she is back with her beloved husband, and together they will watch over us. 

We will miss you Granny, and all your crazy antics! You kept us on our toes, always ready with a joke or one liner, and always with those Florida nail clippers. Oh the memories of flea markets and fairs, picnics and fishing and soap operas at lunch hour. We will miss you. 💔
