Helen Moore Sephton

Born Helen McMillan in London ON, July 4, 1913, daughter of Lena Hance and Daniel McMillan with ancestors originating in Argyllshire, Scotland. Died March 11, 2015 in Burlington, ON at the age of 101 and 8 months. Wife of Harold James Sephton who died July 4, 1987, mother of surviving sons Donald Harold (Joan) of Hamilton ON, James Robert (Lynne) of Burlington ON, and Douglas Moore (Peta) of Bragg Creek AB. She had four grandchildren: David (Jennifer) of Burlington ON, Laura (John) Newsome of Canmore AB, Douglas (Claire) of Vancouver BC and Jeffery (Kelly) of Ancaster ON. Great grandmother of Emma, Ruby, Jack and Cole. Aunt of Daniel Page of Barrie ON, James (deceased) and Jesse Anne Somers, nee McMillan of Burlington ON. Predeceased by brothers Ronald, Ian and sister Margaret. Principal residences in Hamilton ON, Montreal QC, Bryn Mawr PA, Madera CA and Sarasota FL. Avid golfer and curler, friend to many and devout Protestant. Helen was a woman of grace, joy and optimism. Memorial service at Church of the Resurrection, 435 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton ON at 2pm on Tuesday May 5, 2015. Cards are welcome, and donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
