Henry Gronlund

Peacefully passed away on March 10, 2018 at Arbour Creek Long Term Care in his 89th year. Husband and soul mate of Edna for 67 years. Sister of Helen Astrand (Sven). Beloved father of Mark (Debbie), Lynn Travis (Larry), Paul (the late Angie Novakovic). Cherished grandfather of Laura (Jovan), Kevin, Brett and Paige. Great-grandfather of Julian. Henry was a devoted family man, his happiest years were spent enjoying Georgian Bay surrounded by family. He was retired from Stelco after 32 years of service. Special thanks to all the staff of Arbour Creek for their care, warmth & compassion for the last three years. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 7-9 pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11am. Interment Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
