

Sister and friend passed away peacefully
surrounded by love on September 26th,
2013 in her 91st year. Irene has gone to
be with her Lord. Beloved Wife of 60
years to Art (2003). Much loved
Mother of Bette Kinnaird, Bob and
Elaine Dunkey, Joanne and George
Harris and Cathie and Steve Maillet.
She is predeceased by her son John (2001).
Grandma will live on in the hearts of
her Grandchildren and
Great Grandchildren. Predeceased
by sisters Bess and Joan. Survived by
her sister Ethel Hambleton. Irene was
a founding member of St. Michael's
Anglican Church where she served
as leader of the Girls Auxiliary and
was a dedicated member of the
Womens Auxiliary. A heartfelt
thank you to the staff at Idlewyld
Manor for their loving care & support.
Irene's family will receive friends at
the Cresmount Funeral Home,
322 Fennell Ave. E. on Friday from
2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of her
life will be held at St. Michael's Anglican
Church, 1188 Fennell Ave. E. on Saturday
September 28th, 2013 at 11 a.m.
Cremation will follow. Donations to
Idlewyld Manor, St. Michael's Anglican
Church or to Scouts Canada would be
appreciated by the family.
