

A brave Christian soldier has gone home to rest in peace after her passing at St.Peter's Hospital at the age of 90 years. Mother Hanley, after six decades of fighting the good fight of faith, is honorably discharged from active combat. She has left behind a great legacy of victories and will be greatly missed by her Church and biological families, friends and neighbours. She is survived by her two daughters Kathleen and Cynthia, her only son Joseph, as well as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mother Hanley’s body is housed at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the delta) where friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday June 23 from 3 - 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Apostolic Church, 187 Sherman Avenue North (near Barton) on Friday, June 24 at 10 am followed by interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Donations to the family will be accepted at the funeral home and church.
