Ivadel Joyce Henderson (nee MacKay) July 10, 1940 to January 18, 2023 It is with deep sorrow that the family of “Ivy” announces her peaceful passing on January 18th, 2023, at St. Peter’s hospital, after succumbing to cancer at the age of 82. Always strong in willpower and in character she gave it her all, as she truly did love life. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered as a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, friend, and dedicated citizen and volunteer in the city of Hamilton, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local women’s shelter or food bank. Interment to follow at a later date.
