Mr. Ivan Benko

in his sleep on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the age of 64. Dearly

beloved husband of Marija of 41 years. Cherished dad of Johnnie,

Steve (Kim), and David. Lovingly remembered by his sisters Marika,

Durdica, Katica and their families, his uncle's Tony Benko (Dragica) and

family, Nikola Balenovic and family, and aunt's Vera Stos and family, and

Milka Benko. Predeceased by his mother Marica, his brother Mirko,

aunt Barbara Balenovic, uncle Rudi Benko, uncle Franjo Benko, and aunt

Katica Majzel. Also remembered by other family in Canada and Croatia.

Ivan was a retired employee of Dofasco and a long time member of

Holy Cross Church of 42 years. The family will receive friends at the

MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King St. E. (atKenilworth Ave.) on

Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated from Holy Cross Church on Wednesday

at 9:30 a.m., followed by Interment at Our Lady of the Angel's Cemetery.
