Striko Ivo... am so sorry to learn of your passing. The Maric Family shared so many of the special occasions that comprised childhoos memories.  The trips to Hamilton for a christening, or a First Communion, some Easter or Christmas parties... And then coming together at the Croatian picnics .... Striko Ivo....your wide gentle smile is recognizable despite the changes over the years and your kind attention to us - then the little kids underfoot - is a very sweet memory I have. Thank you for being a second father to me.  I learned alot from you and appreciated the time I got to spend with you.  My kids loved the time they had with their Dida. They were always excited to leave in the morning knowing they were going to your house.  Digging in the garden or washing your Van were highlights of their summer days. They loved the time you spent playing with them in the basement, running around and creating their toy disasters.  You spoiled them with love and affection.  I am glad they got to spend their early years in your loving care.
